Dermatology

Dermatological symptoms could be a manifestation of a sexually transmitted infection. These could include ulcers, sores, and skin rashes.

Skin conditions can affect sexual health. These can present clinically as ulcers (e.g. primary stage syphilis), rash (e.g. secondary stage syphilis, HIV infection, scabies), nodules (e.g. anogenital warts, molluscum contagiosum), itching (e.g. scabies, pubic lice, HIV infection), discharge (e.g. Gonorrhea and chlamydia), and lymphadenopathy, which is enlarged palpable lymph nodes (e.g. herpes genitalis, syphilis).
